Coleslaw

  • 1 medium cabbage, shredded (about 2 cups)
  • 1-2 carrots, shredded (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup mayonnaise

Toss ingredients together.

You can add cream or milk to dilute the mayonnaise to serve as a dressing.

Coleslaw can be made with the sliced cabbage and carrots alone. But adding other ingredients can make a tastier and more interesting salad.
