White Wine-Lemon-Shallot Sauce
A rich and tangy sauce with the flavor and appearance of a beurre blanc. Serve with fish, shellfish, chicken or veal.
White Wine-Lemon-Shallot Sauce Recipe
White Wine-Lemon-Shallot Sauce

1 cup white wine
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1/4 cup freshly-squeezed lemon juice
1/3 cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce
1/2 cup minced shallots
1 tablespoon finely-chopped garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
In saucepan, reduce wine to 1/4 cup over medium heat. Gradually sprinkle in flour, whisking until smooth. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer to reach sauce consistency. Pass sauce through strainer; discard solids. Keep sauce hot.

Makes 1 1/2 cup
